This year's Guiding Star Student Speaker sponsored by Carson Valley Health is Cheyenne
Clayson, who brings a story of determination, perseverance and paying it forward.
A 2026 nursing graduate from Western Nevada College, Clayson received support through
WNC's ROADS Program (Realizing Opportunities for the American Dream to Succeed) and
WNC Foundation scholarships, including the William N. Pennington Foundation Nursing
