The statement below is by Commissioner Jonathan Young in regard to the off-duty death of Camden County Department of Corrections Sergeant Joseph Christinzio.
"Earlier today, the Board of Commissioners learned of the passing of Sergeant Joseph Christinzio of the Camden County Department of Corrections. Sergeant Christinzio served Camden County for over twelve years with honor, integrity, and professionalism. In a role that is often thankless, Sergeant Christinzio displayed an unwavering commitment to his profession, the individuals he served at our correctional facility, and to his colleagues at the Department of Corrections.
