PIERRE, S.D., Aug. 2 -- South Dakota Office of Procurement Management has published an Invitation for Bid (26RFP19889) on July 30 for Monitoring Services, Disaster Debris and Recovery (990-60).
Description: The purpose of this project is to remove large piles of woody debris from the December 2025 windstorm. There are four piling areas located throughout Custer State Park. Piles range in size but can be as large as 295 feet long by 30 feet wide with a height of 15 feet. Piles contain limbs and needles as well as boles of large ponderosa trees. Custer State Park contracts may be entered into with more than one contractor as a result of this RFP.
