Today, Congressman Eric Sorensen (IL-17) released a statement following the Supreme Court's decision to eliminate limits on how much national political parties can coordinate with individual candidates:
"Today's Supreme Court decision allows more dark money and corruption to enter campaign advertising. Right now, special interest groups are spending more money than ever to influence our elections. Our votes should be earned by the people who want to represent us, not bought by dark money. Today's ruling takes us further away from that goal," said Congressman Eric Sorensen.
