Today, Congressman Adrian Smith (NE-03) released the following statement after the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) issued an emergency waiver (https://www.epa.gov/newsreleases/epa-fortifies-domestic-fuel-supply-provides-americans-relief-pump-approving-nationwide) to allow for the sale of E15 gasoline during the summer driving season:
"I am grateful Administrator Zeldin has issued a summertime emergency fuel waiver to allow E15 to be sold year-round. Amidst supply chain uncertainty, it's never been clearer that biofuels are a key pillar of American energy independence.
