SIUE'S BUTTS-WILMSMEYER APPOINTED TO ILLINOIS COMMITTEE FOR AGRICULTURAL EDUCATION

EDWARDSVILLE, Ill., July 7 -- Southern Illinois University- Edwardsville issued the following news release:

Carrie Butts-Wilmsmeyer,PhD,director of the Center for Predictive Analytics(C-PAN)at Southern IllinoisUniversityEdwardsville, has been appointed to the Illinois Committee for Agricultural Education (ICAE).

The ICAE,which serves under the office of Illinois Deputy Governor for EducationMartin Torres,advisesthe Illinois State Board of Education on agricultural education. The 13-member committee includes representatives from various educational sectors and agricultural organizations.
