NASHVILLE, Tenn., Sept. 9 -- The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development issued the following news release:
Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee, Deputy Gov. and Department of Economic and Community Development Commissioner Stuart C. McWhorter and Siemens Healthineers Molecular Imaging officials announced today the company is expanding its manufacturing operation in Blount County.
Siemens Healthineers has invested $43.6 million and will create more than 90 new jobs in the next five years at the company's Dunavant Drive facility in Rockford. The location houses Siemens Healthineers Molecular Imaging's (MI) PET Detector Center for research and development (R&D) and material production.
