SENS. OSSOFF, REV. WARNOCK DELIVERING RESOURCES TO STRENGTHEN CAMPUS SAFETY AT SPELMAN COLLEGE

U.S. Senators Reverend Raphael Warnock and Jon Ossoff are delivering resources to strengthen campus safety at Spelman College.

Sens. Ossoff and Rev. Warnock are delivering Federal funding to help Spelman College upgrade emergency notification software and increase security on campus.

Following a surge of targeted threats to Historically Black Colleges and Universities, Spelman College plans to use these new resources to improve both physical and technological infrastructure across campus, including the addition of motion-detecting cameras, distributing emergency response guides, and the hiring of an Emergency Response Coordinator.
