U.S. Senator Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Tim Scott (R-S.C.) introduced the Institutional Grants for New Infrastructure, Technology, and Education for Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) Excellence Act, also known as the IGNITE HBCU Excellence Act, bipartisan legislation to rebuild and modernize aging campus infrastructure at HBCUs across the country.
