U.S. Senators Chris Coons (D-Del.) and Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) introduced the Railroad Retirement Fairness Act today that would eliminate an outdated provision in federal law which unfairly reduces railroad retirement payments for certain retirees and spouses who continue working in non-railroad jobs after retirement. Companion legislation is being led in the House by Representatives Chris Deluzio (D-Pa.) and Troy Nehls (R-Texas).
