Following the third attempt on President Trump's life, U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt (R-MO) introduced the "White House Safety and Security Act,"to unlock the funds donated by Americans and American companies for the purpose of building the presidential ballroom in the East Wing of the White House. Americans donated funds for the White House East Wing renovations, and those donated funds are deposited in designated government accounts at the Treasury. But a flawed judicial ruling is currently preventing those donated funds from being expended for the renovations.
