On Wednesday, U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), received the PROMISE (Protecting Our Most Important Students Early) Award from the National Head Start Association. The award is given to Members of Congress who have demonstrated a steadfast commitment to Head Start and serving our nation's most vulnerable children and their families.
The National Head Start Association is a nonprofit organization that believes that every child, regardless of circumstances at birth, can succeed in school and in life. NHSA represents nearly 700,000 children across the country and has locations in all 50 states.
