Washington-U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), joined Senator Roger Wicker (R-Mississippi) and Senator Mark Kelly (D-Arizona) in a bipartisan resolution to designate August 1, 2026, as Gold Star Children's Day to recognize the children of fallen service members.
"When a servicemember makes the ultimate sacrifice, that sacrifice is never theirs alone.
