Washington -U.S. Senator Roger Marshall, M.D. (R-Kansas), joined a lettertoday led by Senator John Boozman (R-Arkansas) urging Secretary of the Interior Doug Burgum to preserve long-standing U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS) wetland easement protections that are critical to North America's waterfowl populations and America's hunting heritage.

This letter comes in response to a recent USFWS Request for Information (RFI) on National Wildlife Refuge System drain tile setbacks that could lead to regulations that weaken protections for wetlands in the Prairie Pothole Region-widely known as the nation's "Duck Factory."
