Senator Edward J. Markey (D-Mass.) today released the following statement on the detention of Massachusetts resident and former Marine Robert Gilman by the Russian government.
"My office has been closely monitoring the detention of Robert Gilman-a Massachusetts resident and former Marine who has been held in Russia on questionable charges for 1,662 days-nearly four and a half years.
