During a 6-hour marathon voting session last night, Senator Andy Kim (D-NJ) fought to lower costs for working families while Senate Republicans chose to instead funnel more of Americans' money to Trump's lawlessness. While Senate Republicans chose to give up to $140 billion to Trump's ICE and CBP, with no reforms or accountability, the Senator voted for amendments brought forward by his Democratic colleagues to redirect that money and bring down costs across the board - from healthcare costs and Trump's Iran war tax, to what people are spending at the grocery.
