Today, U.S. Senator Susan Collins visited three community development projects across York County that were supported by a combined $7,368,000 in Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) she secured in the past five years through her role on the Senate Appropriations Committee. These projects include a substance abuse recovery center and first responder training facility in Alfred and a municipal building in Hollis.
Since 2021, Senator Collins has secured nearly $1.5 billion (https://www.collins.senate.gov/services/funding-maines-future/) for 672 targeted community development projects across each of Maine's 16 counties.
