U.S. Senator Susan Collins visited the Lewiston Police Department yesterday to meet with Lewiston Police Chief Carly Conley and other members of the department. During the visit, Senator Collins discussed the public safety challenges facing the Lewiston community and toured the department's new headquarters.

Chief Conley, who has served with the Lewiston Police Department for 25 years, was sworn in as Chief in November 2025 and is the first woman to lead the department.
