WASHINGTON - Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa) applauded the Senate's confirmation of four U.S. Attorneys, four U.S. Marshals and the Inspector General for the Department of Justice (DOJ). The nominees were confirmed as part of a nominations package of 74 executive nominees, by a vote of 51-47.
Under Grassley's leadership in the 119th Congress, the Senate Judiciary Committee has advanced 141 of President Trump's nominees, including 11 circuit judges, 46 district judges, one Court of International Trade judge, 48 U.S. attorneys and 12 U.S. marshals. The Senate has now confirmed 136 of those nominees.
