SEN. OSSOFF WORKING TO IMPROVE PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION ACROSS GEORGIA

WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 -- Sen. Jon Ossoff issued the following press release:

Washington, D.C.- U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff is working with Republicans and Democrats to improve public transportation across Georgia.

Sen. Ossoff is cosponsoring the bipartisanStreamline Transit Projects Act, legislation to help reduce transit project delays by streamlining the environmental review process for projects that would have little to no environmental impact.

The bill aims to more quickly deliver critical public transportation improvements and improve transit access and service for riders.

The bipartisan bill was first introduced by Sens. Mike Lee (R-UT) and Reverend Raphael Warnock (D-GA).
