U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff helped pass a bipartisan bill into law to lower drug costs for Georgians.
Sen. Ossoff worked with Republicans and Democrats to pass the Increasing Transparency in Generic Drug Applications Act to increase transparency in generic drug applications and reduce unnecessary delays so that these low-cost medications are brought to consumers faster.
The bipartisan bill, which became law on February 3 as part of bipartisan government funding legislation, will streamline the drug review process of generic drug applicants by requiring the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) to disclose to generic drug applicants what ingredients causes a drug to be d...
