ATHENS, Ga., Aug. 20 -- The University of Georgia issued the following news release:
University of Georgia President Jere W. Morehead has appointed a search committee to conduct a national search for candidates to serve as the institution's next senior vice president for academic affairs and provost.
The committee is composed of faculty, staff, administrators, students and alumni, and will be co-chaired by Dean Matt Auer of the School of Public and International Affairs and Dean Lisa Nolan of the College of Veterinary Medicine.
