Today, U.S. Senator Eric Schmitt announced that following his push, the Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) has been awarded$42,101,350 through the U.S. Department of Transportation's Nationally Significant Multimodal Freight and Highways Projects (INFRA) Grant Program for improvements to Interstate 70 near St. Louis Lambert International Airport. The award will be used to implement corridor & interchange improvements along I-70 from Cypress Road (east of US 67) to the upcoming Natural Bridge interchange (west of I-170). This will include interchange improvements at the I-70/Cypress, I-70/Airflight, and I-70/Natural Bridge intersections
