Washington, D.C. - Congresswoman Mary Gay Scanlon (PA-05) yesterday joined Reps. Chris Deluzio (PA-17), Madeleine Dean (PA-04), Summer Lee (PA-12), and Dwight Evans (PA-03) in introducing the new Oversight Access Act of 2026.
This bill would allow for Representatives to bring one member of their staff inside Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facilities when conducting oversight, without prior notice. This would allow for additional translation services and more capacity to conduct oversight.
