U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) applauded the news last week that $695,000 in federal funding that she helped secure is coming to Nevada to support efforts to lower the cost of housing, increase economic opportunity, and create jobs. The funding comes through NeighborWorks America and will be awarded to Neighborhood Housing Services of Southern Nevada, a non-profit providing affordable homes and community education programs, and Nevada HAND, a non-profit builder and manager of housing for low-income seniors and working families.
