U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) joined Senate Democrats in introducing a bill to protect small businesses and their consumers from further tariff-related harm. Following the Supreme Court's decision last month to strike down President Trump's illegal International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) tariffs, Trump almost immediately imposed a 10 percent global tariff using Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 - an outdated authority that is already being challenged in court. The Small Business Liberation 2.0 Act would exempt small businesses from paying Section 122 tariffs, refund small businesses for any Section 122 tariffs paid, and prevent large corporations ...
