WASHINGTON, DC - U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) introduced a resolution this week stating that the President, Vice President, Cabinet secretaries, Members of Congress, and their families should not profit when the federal government acquires or sells shares in private companies. The resolution calls for banning all federal elected officials and their immediate family members from receiving any compensation or fee from any federal acquisition, sale, or transfer of a stake in a private company.
