Today, U.S. Senator Jacky Rosen (D-NV) announced that 15 more medications have been selected for Medicare drug pricing negotiations to lower their costs for seniors on Medicare Part D. This is also the first time prescription drugs covered under Medicare Part B will be negotiated. These new medications come in addition to 25 prescription drugs whose prices have already been negotiated under this authority, which was created in the Inflation Reduction Act (https://www.rosen.senate.gov/2022/08/07/rosen-votes-to-pass-inflation-reduction-act/) that Senator Rosen helped pass.
