REPS. HEATON, YOCUM ENCOURAGE RESIDENTS IMPACTED BY STORMS TO SEEK ASSISTANCE

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind., Aug. 26 -- The Indiana House of Representatives' Republican Caucus issued the following news release:

STATEHOUSE (Aug. 26, 2026) -State Reps. Bob Heaton (R-Terre Haute) and Tim Yocum (R-Clinton) are encouraging Indiana residents affected by severe storms in Indiana to seek assistance by applying for state emergency resources.

"Hoosiers who have faced damages from these storms have had their lives turned upside down, but they're not facing this recovery alone," Heaton said. "Do not hesitate to seek help from state and local resources if you need it during this difficult time."
