Today Congressman Gabe Evans (CO-08) and Congressman Nick Langworthy (NY-23) sent a letter to Howard Lutnick, the Secretary of Commerce, regarding newly enacted state-level regulations on artificial intelligence (AI) and their impact on American innovation, and competitiveness.
In the letter, the Members highlight concerns with Colorado's SB 205 and New York's RAISE Act, warning that a growing patchwork of conflicting state AI laws risks undermining U.S. leadership in one of the most transformative technologies of our generation.
