Today, Congresswoman Alma S. Adams, Ph.D. (NC-12), and Congresswoman Lucy McBath (GA-6) introduced the Extreme Temperatures Injustice in Prisons Act (https://adams.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/adams-evo.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/adamnc_562_xml.pdf), landmark legislation to protect incarcerated people and prison staff from dangerous temperatures in facilities across the country managed by the Bureau of Prisons (BOP).
