Today, Congresswoman Bonnie Watson Coleman (NJ-12) voted against H.Res. 1099, a non-binding resolution meant to distract from the Massie-Khanna War Powers Act.
It has become a pattern under Republican leadership of the House of Representatives for toothless, non-binding messaging resolutions to be brought to the floor that have no purpose other than political messaging, distract from more serious issues, and do nothing to solve the actual problems at hand.
