On August 12, 2026, U.S. Representative Gabe Vasquez (NM-02) sent a letter (https://vasquez.house.gov/sites/evo-subsites/vasquez.house.gov/files/evo-media-document/tariffs-letter.pdf) to Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent and U.S. Customs and Border Protection Commissioner Rodney Scott demanding that they push corporations to return the money from the Administration's illegal tariffs to the consumers who paid for them.
