REP. TOKUDA LEADS HAWAI'I CONGRESSIONAL DELEGATION TO RENAME WAI'ANAE POST OFFICE AFTER THE LATE COLLEEN HANABUSA

U.S. Representative Jill N. Tokuda (HI-02) led the Hawai'i Congressional Delegation in introducing bipartisan legislation to rename the Wai'nae Post Office as the "U.S. Representative Colleen Hanabusa Post Office Building." U.S. Senator Brian Schatz (D-HI) introduced companion legislation in the Senate. The joint effort, co-sponsored by Senator Mazie Hirono (D-HI), Representative Ed Case (HI-01), and a bipartisan coalition honors the life and public service of Hanabusa, a proud daughter of Wai'anae who passed away on March 6, 2026.
