Today, U.S. Representative Emilia Sykes (OH-13) voted for H.J. Res. 72 to terminate President Trump's national emergency declaration used to impose sweeping tariffs on Canada.
The resolution would block the president's order imposing tariffs on most Canadian imports under a claimed national emergency.
"Canada is one of our closest allies and one of Ohio's largest trading partners," said Rep. Sykes.
