Late Friday night, the bipartisan 21st Century ROAD to Housing Act became law after passing both the House and Senate. Although the President did not sign the bill, it automatically became law after sitting for 10 days on his desk. Rep. Hoyle released the following statement after the bill became law:
"On Friday, one of the most significant housing bills in decades became law.
