LONG BEACH, NY - Congresswoman Laura Gillen (NY-04) announced $1,092,000 in new federal funding she secured for critical upgrades to the City of Long Beach's water treatment system through the Fiscal Year 2026 appropriations process. The investment will help replace the city's water supply sand filters, which have been in service since 1969 and are nearing the end of their useful lives.
