WASHINGTON, D.C. - Representative Michelle Fischbach (MN-07) joined Representatives Pete Stauber (MN-08), Brad Finstad (MN-01), and Tom Emmer (MN-06) in introducing the Voter Voucher Transparency Act, which would establish federal reporting standards for voter vouching practices. Under current Minnesota election law, an individual attempting to vote on Election Day can have a registered voter "vouch" for their resident status. A single registered voter can vouch for up to eight individuals, and employees at residential facilities can vouch for unlimited residents.
