Today, U.S. Representative Angie Craig officially cosponsored bipartisan legislation that would make meaningful reforms to our country's broken immigration system.
The DIGNITY Act would grant legal status and protections to certain undocumented immigrants, reform the asylum screening process to provide legal options for asylum seekers, invest in border security and modernize ports of entry, create new regional processing centers for asylum seekers, mandate accountability for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and provide a pathway to citizenship for our country's Dreamers.
