Congressman Andy Ogles introduced the Remigration Act, legislation to revoke citizenship and immigration status from individuals who abuse America's laws, defraud taxpayers, support terrorism, or threaten national security.
The bill would revoke naturalized citizenship for individuals convicted of aggravated felonies, government-benefits fraud, certain serious federal crimes, or material support for a foreign terrorist organization within ten years of naturalization. It would also create a DHS task force to review Biden-era asylum, refugee, and adjustment-of-status grants issued from January 20, 2021, to January 20, 2025.
