AUSTIN, TEXAS, Sept. 20 -- Congressman Greg Casar issued the following press release:
Following the shooting of a man by ICE, Rep. Greg Casar (D-TX) sent a letter to the Department of Homeland Security demanding cooperation with an "immediate, independent investigation," full release of any footage of the shooting, and accountability for any wrongdoing by the agent responsible.
On September 20th, 2026, an ICE officer shot and wounded a man in Austin.
