Today, Chicago Congressman Mike Quigley (IL-05) introduced an amendment to the FY26 Homeland Security Appropriations bill that would cut funding for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Protection (CBP), unless major changes are made to the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) conduct.
"Since ICE and CBP began their reign of terror in Chicago last fall, I have stood alongside thousands of Chicagoans in demanding accountability from DHS.
