WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind., Aug. 7 -- Purdue University issued the following news release:
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - Purdue University officials, students and stakeholders gathered Friday (Aug. 7) to cut the ribbon and dedicate South Hall, the university's newest residential facility. The $149 million project adds 896 student beds to Purdue's West Lafayette residential footprint.
The inaugural group of residents will start moving into the new hall next week. This fall, more than 18,500 new and returning students will live in Purdue University Residences in West Lafayette and Indianapolis.
