The 17th Training Wing conducted its first independent Wingman Guardian Connect program at Goodfellow Air Force Base, Oct. 5-7.
WGC is a peer-led initiative designed to build interpersonal skills, foster resilience and encourage early help-seeking behaviors across the Air and Space Force. The program utilizes a nontraditional curriculum that prioritizes interactive, group-based activities to build genuine connection and psychological safety in place of standard, lecture-based military training.
