POSTAL SERVICE ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: MANIFEST MAILING SYSTEM RETIRED

WASHINGTON, Sept. 12 -- Postal Service has issued a proposed rule called: Manifest Mailing System Retired.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on Sept. 12 by Colleen Hibbert-Kapler, Attorney, Ethics & Legal Compliance.

Summary: The Postal Service is proposing to amend Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM(R)) subsection 703.2.0 to retire the manifest mailing system (MMS).
