POSTAL SERVICE ISSUES PROPOSED RULE: BALLOT MAIL FOR FEDERAL ELECTIONS

WASHINGTON, June 2 -- Postal Service has issued a proposed rule called: Ballot Mail for Federal Elections.

The proposed rule was published in the Federal Register on June 2 by Daria Valan, Attorney, Ethics & Legal Compliance.

Summary: The Postal Service is proposing to amend the Mailing Standards of the United States Postal Service, Domestic Mail Manual (DMM), regarding the transmission of mail-in or absentee ballots for federal elections pursuant to its rulemaking authority.
