WASHINGTON, Aug. 21 -- Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has issued a rule called: Pipeline Safety: Periodic Standards Update II.
The rule was published in the Federal Register on Aug. 21 by Benjamin D. Kochman, Deputy Administrator.
Summary: PHMSA is amending the Federal pipeline safety regulations to incorporate by reference all or parts of 19 updated industry standards. PHMSA is also clarifying certain regulatory provisions and making several editorial corrections.
