WASHINGTON, April 24 -- Pipeline and Hazardous Materials Safety Administration has issued a rule called: Pipeline Safety: Consent Orders.

The rule was published in the Federal Register on April 24 by Paul J. Roberti, Administrator.

Summary: PHMSA is amending its procedural regulations to clarify that consent agreements may be used to resolve all PHMSA enforcement proceedings, including cases with civil penalties.
