On Saturday, May 16, 2026, U.S. Senator Adam Schiff (D-Calif.), a member of the Senate Committee on Agriculture, Nutrition, and Forestry, toured Feeding San Diego to learn more about the organization's food rescue and hunger relief programs which provide meals for thousands of families in San Diego.
During the visit, Senator Schiff joined volunteers to package up local produce, learning about the work that goes into the production of meals.
