FAIRMONT, W.Va. - Today, U.S. Senator Shelley Moore Capito (R-W.Va.), Chairman of the Senate Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, and Related Agencies (Labor-HHS) Appropriations Subcommittee, visited Fairmont State University's College of Nursing to celebrate the opening of their BEACON Simulation Center. Senator Capito helped secure a$3,059,000 Congressionally Directed Spending (CDS) allocation for Fiscal Year 2024 (FY24) to support the relocation and expansion of the College of Nursing's simulation center.
